Charité has been awarded with the"ASPIRE to Excellence Award in Student Engagement" 2015 by the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE)

Our LOOOP project contributed to this price significantly, as it is the basis for student engagement in curriuclum development and curriculum mapping.

Exemplary LOOOP functions to support student activities:

  • Low-threshold option of student involvement in curriculum development due to online planning processes
  • Differentiated system of rights to ensure the workflows for (student) module coordinators
  • Transparent view on the curriculum including operationalized and mapped educational objectives with the possibility of being commented by each student
  • Considering student feedback during the yearly reviews and modification processes
  • Versioning all changes made over the years and thus possibility of tracking student "triggered" curriculum development
  • Planning, management and booking of the entire student organized peer-teaching program
  • Documentation of the mandatory participation in peer-teaching as part of our elective program
